Fastenings are 925 sterling silver, and the necklace measures 46cm (18. 2). This necklace was one of my first attempts at pearl knotting so it has been discounted because the knots are uneven and imperfect. This should not impact durability.

The wood shelf part is very nice, but the hardware is lacking for this length of shelf. The bracket that mounts to the wall is very thin metal, and mine was warped so that I had to bend it a bit to mount it straight. It also allows the shelf to bounce at the slightest touch, even though it is attached at the studs. I had to use a couple of chair brackets on the bottom of the shelf to keep it steady, which kind of defeats the "floating shelf" look. That said, with the brackets it is now quite sturdy and doesn't look bad at all.
