Mollenhauer Modern Alto Recorder in PalisanderMollenhauer 5920 Modern alto (treble) in f', palisander, with with f foot joint and double key f f#. This design was the product of collaboration between recorder virtuoso Nikolaj Tarasov and recorder maker Joachim Paetzold. A little longer than the conventional alto, it has a double f f# key that firstly gives these notes a significantly more powerful sound than is usual on alto recorders and secondly, enables notes in the third octave to be played

This suit looks and feels really nice even though it’s not 100% linen. My son is an average size 7 year old, but I got a size 6 so that the fit would be nice and snug and not loose and baggy. It was the right choice. Comes with a bow tie which is nice, a tie (which is very cheap and poorly made) and a pocket square.
