All models are fitted with a compensation diode that can be used to slightly increase the output voltage of the alternator. This compensates for the voltage drop over the diodes in the isolator. Pack a lunch when you tackle this project boys.. its a doozy!! Month in going great so far definetly did what I purchased it to do. 2000 chevy with two p3 10s every bass drop sounded like an old firebird with loose trunk bolts. Threw this on the back walls floor underneath the speaker and the doors.. all that energy is now in the cab with me instead of getting lost in rattling metal!! Love it!!!
