The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The description says ToreTark helps keep dirt and grime away from your vehicle after use. I applied this product on my vehicle November the 9th. Today, (Two Weeks later, without cleaning) November 23, 2025, I cleaned the outside of my Tacoma. I cleaned the driver's side of the truck using dry towels only. The passenger side of the truck I used my favorite cleaning product. ToreTark was easy to apply, the driver's side is still shining with only a dry cloth to wipe it down. The passenger side is still shining although I used my favorite cleaner. The wax quality I can't judge, don't know the appropriate description. All I can say is it is still one heck of a protective shine. I am not a professional car cleaning guru. For the weekend shiners, you will like this product.
